One thing that we don’t get to cover as regularly here on Blast-O-Rama as I’d like is the world of street art.  However, it’s something that I avidly enjoy, and one of the highlights of my San Francisco trip last year was stumbling upon the art of Banksy while walking the streets.

However, an artist who perhaps isn’t quite getting as much press as he should is Hanksy, a “parody” street artist who mashes pop culture concepts with wonderfully rendered street art. He got his start mixing Banksy pieces with images of Tom Hanks, hence his unique nom de plume.

A mini documentary about Hanksy hit the web this week, titled “Spending Time With Hanksy”, and joins him as he puts up two new pieces of art.  It’s a heck of a watch, and I highly recommend you check it out. Enjoy!
