Whoops, look like we missed a Pacific Rim Jaeger blueprint late last week.

However, this one is worth the wait, as it’s definitely one of the more unique designs showcased so far.

Released to Yahoo! Movies Hong Kong, “Crimson Typhoon” is the official Jaeger of China.  Not only does it feature a unique three-armed design, but it is the only Jaeger to use three separate pilots.  It’s a very striking look, and I (much like with the other designs), can’t wait to see it in action.

Clearly, the anticipation is building for Guillermo Del Toro’s next film, and evidently, Warner Bros has faith that the hype will produce some strong dividends.  How do we know this? Deadline.com is reporting that Del Toro has officially started writing the script to Pacific Rim 2 alongside writer Travis Beacham (who wrote Pacific Rim).  Bodes well for the films prospects, and for those of us who want more robots fighting giant monsters on the big screen.
