One of the most anticipated entertainment events has to be the 2013 return of Arrested Development, the cult FOX TV show which ended in 2006, but will find new life on Netflix in the Spring.

Yesterday, some very interesting news came about, as Netflix confirmed that the previously scheduled 10 episode season will be extended to a 12-to-15 episode run.  Apparently filming was going so well that they discovered a lot more content to work with, and creator Mitch Hurwitz has been given the OK to review the current footage and find the best way to incorporate the additional character arcs.

When’s the last time you heard of a show being extended due to quality, as opposed to success? Well done, FOX and Netflix!
