With the continued growth of pop culture art shows on each coast, every gallery is looking to have their show stand out.  The Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY is launching a new show (with the help of Silver Screen Society) this Friday night, December 14th, and it may be one of the coolest ideas yet - Alternate Endings.

Over sixty artists have taken on selecting one of their favorite films and altering the editing in some dramatic way.  This can be humorous (see Andres Lozano’s Seven), sad (David Sizemore’s Up) or simply bizarre (Kyle Fewell’s Predator), but each time celebrates what makes each film great - even in their subversion.

The opening is at 7pm Friday night, with the show running through Friday, January 4th, 2013.  Any art not sold during Friday’s opening will hit Bottleneck Gallery’s website on Saturday, December 15th at Noon. As always, we’ve included a gallery of artwork below.

The Bottleneck Gallery is located at 60 Broadway in Brooklyn, New York.
