Some bummer news today, as artist Bryan Lee O’Malley, best known for his Scott Pilgrim comic series has announced that his new book, Seconds, originally set for release later this year, will be pushed to a 2014 release.

According to O’Malley, this is due to a shoulder injury which occurred last year.

As he stated on his Tumblr page:

I hurt my shoulder last summer and couldn’t work for a few months and unfortunately the book had to be delayed because of it.

I’m back to work on it now, but it won’t be out until………

Luckily, hardcore O’Malley fans get to enjoy the continued release of Scott Pilgrim color reprints through 2013, with the 3rd volume, Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness hitting in the Spring.
