…and no, we don’t mean a fourth film. Thank goodness.

Although, we are supposed to be seeing an extended cut of the films on Blu-Ray.

Anyway - after originally setting the release date for the third and final Hobbit film, There and Back Again for July 18th, 2014, Warner Bros has announced that the film will now instead be released on December 17th, 2014.

The second film in the series, The Desolation of Smaug remains on its December 13th, 2013 release date.  If you’re wishing to pre-order the first film (An Unexpected Journey) on Blu-Ray, or in 3D, it releases in March, and is available on Amazon.com right now.
