Last we saw Tony Stark in 2012’s The Avengers, he had just shown off his stunning Mark 8 armor, used in the Battle of New York to defeat Loki and the Chitauri army.

And the big gold and red armor featured primarily within this summer’s Iron Man 3 is confirmed as Mark 42…so…what happened with Mark’s 9-41?

They’re filling in the blanks with a Facebook game, the Iron Man 3: Unlock the Armor promotion, letting you win a trip to the Iron Man 3 premiere, and showcasing armors along the way. They may also play into the movie itself, if the posters and trailer are any indication.

For classic Iron Man fans, the Mark 33 armor (above), known here as the Enhanced Energy Suit, or “Silver Centurion”, should look familiar. Clearly based on the 1980’s Silver and Red redesign, it looks very sharp.

For a more unique look, we have the Mark 40 armor, known as the Hyper Velocity Suit, or “Shotgun”. A very different design from the traditional Shellhead feel.
