The trailer for the latest Wolverine solo film, titled, appropriately, The Wolverine hits the web on Wednesday, and just before it gets out, Fox is pushing out a some new stills for the film alongside two absolutely dreadful posters.

The main poster is at the top of the post, pushing the 3D aspect of the movie. As far as action movie posters go, it’s not really the worst thing ever - but considering how many times during X-Men Origins: Wolverine Logan found himself screaming “Noooooo!” at the sky, the last thing I want to see before The Wolverine is him doing even more of that.

But hey, that poster is absolutely perfect, compared to this second one, which premiered exclusively at ComingSoon.net. Holy hell, this is first-year graphic designer day one bad.

Let’s hope for the best though - Entertainment Weekly premiered a bunch of new stills today, which include our first looks at Viper (who is now a blonde, but is otherwise comic accurate), the sure-to-be-a-fan-favorite Yukio and ill-fated love of Logan, Mariko.  Check out the gallery of those stills below.
