It’s pretty much a given that a character’s costume changes between sequels (unless you’re The Dark Knight Rises), and it looks like that Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be no different.

Captain America: The First Avenger gave us the almost football player-esq suit. The Avengers made Steve Rogers look almost like a Power Ranger. This time, the suit appears to be the best of both worlds, and honestly, it reminds me of the short lived Steve Rogers: Super Solider look (below).

I’m inclined to believe this is the real deal as the art has a similar texture and feel to most Marvel Studios marketing imagery, such as the leaked Avengers designs and the prior Captain America leaked costumes when each were filming.

What say you? Is it a good redesign, or just an excuse to sell more toys?
