While the poster imagery for the JJ Abrams Star Trek sequel Star Trek Into Darkness certainly has been effective, it really hasn’t felt too…well, Star Trek-y.

Honestly, if you took the Star Trek name off of the posters so far, it’d kinda look like it was for the next Mission: Impossible film.

That said, the newest poster isn’t afraid of its lineage - it’s just sending it down in flames, as the new poster features the USS Enterprise having a very bad day.

Perhaps this is why so much of the new footage appears to be grounded on Earth? We’ve got a month to go to know for sure.

And in case you’re wondering - yes, this poster does look familiar.
