Zach Snyder has to be feeling good this morning.

Last night, after unveiling the masterful trailer for Man of Steel, he was able to continue his personal hype train, as he revealed the first poster for 300: Rise of an Empire, the sequel to his 2007 film, which he is producing, directed by Noam Murro.

While I am waiting to make full judgement until I see a trailer, after the two stills released so far, and this poster…doesn’t this sequel already feel like it should go direct to video?

Hopefully I’m wrong.
