The third major comic book movie for Summer 2013, The Wolverine has a lot to prove, considering how bad the last Wolverine solo outing was, and how great the most recent X-Men film was.

With two months until release day, 20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the film, which gives away a pretty big cameo in the film (right at the start as well, I’m surprised), and lays the plot for Logan’s latest adventure in Japan.

I have to admit, as great as Jackman looks as Wolverine, and as much as I’ve enjoyed his work in the prior X-Men films, I’m just not feeling The Wolverine so far. Perhaps it’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine’s fault. I’m not sure.

We’ll have to see how it all turns out on July 26th.
