We are just three weeks into the Summer 2013 movie season, and it certainly looks like Amazon.com is already in the spirit, as you can already pre-order two of the biggest films (so far) - Iron Man 3 and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Iron Man 3 is only available as a 2-Disc Blu-Ray+DVD Combo pack at this time, but if you want to lock in early (and honestly, if you liked the film and were looking to pick it up, why the heck not), you can get it for just $24.99. As always, if the price drops between now and release date (TBA, but I’d assume Fall), Amazon will make sure you get the lowest price.

With Star Trek Into Darkness, however, you have three pre-order options. Your standard Blu-Ray+DVD+Digital Copy combo pack (for just $19.99)…

…a 3D Blu-Ray+2D Blu-Ray+DVD+Digital Copy combo pack (for $24.99)…

And finally, holy hell, a limited edition Starfleet Phaser Gift Set, which mixes the 3D Combo Pack with a replica phaser from QMx, for just $79.99. That’s an Amazon.com exclusive.

We’ll have to see if this trend continues, as I can see early pre-orders being offered for Man of Steel and Fast & Furious 6. We will do our best to keep you up to date on the latest pre-orders as they’re available.
