One of the biggest questions (strangely enough, considering it’s about giant robots fighting giant monsters) coming from fans about Pacific Rim is simply this - why does it take TWO people to pilot a Jaeger?

Well, director Guillermo Del Toro just released a video exclusively to IGN that explains the in-film science for the piloting system, and it involves a neural link called “Drift Space”. Check it out.
