After revealing three cars from Transformers 4 yesterday, and some spy Instagram’s last night, director Michael Bay has taken the veil off of another of the vehicles representing the heroic Autobots, and this has to be the strangest change yet.

Following a reveal of an almost identical Optimus Prime, Bay has shared the new look for Bumblebee, the typically yellow sidekick and kid favorite, who is now a mostly black 1967 Camaro SS.

Let’s just hope that the darker outside doesn’t mean he’s gone all grim and gritty on us.
