Later this week, the first trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the second of three Hobbit films will be released both online and alongside prints of Man of Steel.

In anticipation of that, director Peter Jackson took to the web today to release the first teaser poster for the film and, honestly, it feels just right. That’s Bilbo (Martin Freeman), that’s the entry for the Lonely Mountain…now, when do we see us some Smaug?

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on December 13th.
