Just days after announcing the casting coup of Kiefer Sutherland as Snake, Konami and director/producer Hideo Kojima are going big with a brand new 9 minute long trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Of note, this is the red-band trailer for the game, and it’s quite appropriately deemed as such, given the gore, torture, and overall level of mature themes present. Kojima had warned that the 5th game of the series would be going darker places and it shows.  Check it out, if you have the stomach for it.

Metal Gear Solid V will hit the PS3, 360, Xbox One and PS4.
