DC Comics, MAKE THIS!: Francesco Francavilla’s BATMAN 1972
Artist Francesco Francavilla’s made a name for himself in the comics world for his gritty, yet gripping art as scene in his Dark Horse Comics book The Black Beetle and a recent issue of Hawkeye.  His art just draws in the eyeballs, and he’s put together a visual pitch for a DC Comics Elseworld that truly needs to be made real - Batman 1972.
As the title indicates, the comic would be a 70’s era, grindhouse style revamp for the Dark Knight and company, and I would kill to see it come to life. Â Check out his designs, which include a slacker looking Gordon, an awesome Catwoman and a pimp styled Riddler below.
