A Last Minute PACIFIC RIM Push Puts The Focus On The Humans!
We are nine days away from the release of the monsters vs. mechs opus known as Pacific Rim, and while a lot of media has hit the web, including a breakdown of the Kaiju monsters, and a few clips, I feel like they’re somewhat spoilery.
So I’m focusing on the other half of this last minute push - the focus on the humans!
We’ve got a brand new trailer for the film, which pushes the cast forward, explaining the personal appeal to this epic adventure.
We’ve got a look at Ron Perlman as Hannibal Chau, a black market dealer of Kaiju organs, who claims to be able to assist you with all sorts of ailments.
And finally, as you can probably tell from the featured image for the post, we’ve got another awesome Odd City Pacific Rim print. This one is drawn by NE, and is an 18"x24" print. The standard edition is limited to a run of 175 for $45, with the variant (below) limited to 75 for $65. The focus again is right on the cast, with Charlie Hunnam’s Raleigh Beckett and Rinko Kikuchi’s Mako Mori taking center stage. The prints go on sale on Tuesday, July 9th right here, so stay tuned to @OddCityNews for the drop.
