As if the whole “Halo” numbering didn’t bother collectors enough, its been announced today that the new Nine Inch Nails album, Hesitation Marks, features not just one, but four different variant cover arts, one for each format the album will be released in.

Each release, due out on September 3rd, features artwork from Russell Mills, who gave us the art for 1994’s The Downward Spiral.

The art at the top of the post is the “digital” cover, titled “Turn and Burn”.

This is the Vinyl cover, aka “Other Murmurs”

Here’s the CD cover, “Time and Again”

And last, but not least, is the Deluxe CD cover, “Cargo in the Blood”.
