While currently holding the title of “the movie I most cannot wait to see this Fall”, director Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity may also hold the title of “movie most likely to make me nervous about situations I will never find myself in”.

Starring Sandra Bullock as an astronaut who, when things go terribly wrong, finds herself stranded in space, estranged from her fellow space explorer (George Clooney), the trailer has made me tense and nervous. To confirm those fears, here are two clips from the film…

“Detached”

“Drifting”

Remember how when Jaws came out, people were afraid to go into the water? I think Gravity is going to traumatize anyone who has considered NASA as a possible vocation.

Gravity hits theaters on a very special day, October 4th. I can’t wait to give myself a stomach full of knots.
