I really try to tone down when I’m very excited about something, but damnit, I don’t know that I can.

Released earlier today, the first trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is everything I want movies to be. Take me to places I never thought of, give me images which will fill my dreams.  This is one of those special trailers, and I hope the final film lives up to the promise.

Directed by and starring Ben Stiller, alongside an incredible cast including Kristen Wiig, Patton Oswalt, Adam Scott and Sean Penn, this adaptation of the James Thurber short story should be a true present when it arrives this Christmas.
