Racing nerds, get hyped - Warner Bros has just signed on to develop a film based on the Gumball 3000 Race.

Pitched as a caper film like Ocean’s 11, I’m sold on that sentence alone - but it’s based on the real life annual race which takes place on 3,000 miles of public British roads.

Just give it to Guy Ritchie, and let him get the casts of Lock, Stock and Snatch together again for one final, It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World-styled crazy race.
