Darren Aronofsky & Paramount Battling Over Final Cut of 'Noah'

On paper, a $130 Million adaptation of Noah is a tricky proposition.
Even more tricky is when the film is super effects heavy, in the hands of a less than crowd pleasing director (Darren Aronofsky), and after a few test screenings, has had a not-so-positive response.
So, of course, with that boiling pot of a combo, it should come as little surprise that Aronofsky and Paramount are now battling over the final cut.
Some great films were notably hated by audiences in test screenings (Blade Runner, for example), but in today’s film environment - and with so many millions on the line - I can see why Paramount wants a hit.
Who will win? Aronofsky, Paramount, or audiences? We’ll see when Noah releases in March.
