MGM has signed on to produce a new animated film based on The Addams Family.

Perhaps best known in a modern sense for the 2 live action films in the 1990’s, this marks the latest incarnation of the Charles Addams cartoon series, most recently seen as a broadway musical.

Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride) will be writing the screenplay.
