Spinning out of the massive CW success story of Arrow, later this year, Warner Bros Television is going into production of The Flash, the second attempt to bring the speedy hero to the small screen.

Setup earlier this year on Arrow, the new Flash series will feature Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, who becomes the running hero.

DCComics.com released the first image of the hero on Friday, and while it’s only a headshot, the costume will clearly fit into the Arrow universe.

Damning with faint praise? Perhaps - but it’s hard to get excited beyond that until I see a full-body image.
