Announced earlier today in a very special Marvel.com live chat event, November will be a big month for Peter Parker and all of his multiverse variants, as Spider-Man gets ready for the massive “Spider-Verse"!

Kicking off in Amazing Spider-Man #9, the event will be teased in the 2013 Free Comic Book Day comic from Marvel, and progress through Amazing Spider-Man #15, as well as in additional titles to be announced.

Current Superior Spider-Man (and future Amazing Spider-Man) writer Dan Slott will oversee the timeline spanning tale, which pits Spidey against the previously thought dead Morlun, a big bad introduced during J. Michael Straczynski’s classic run in 2001.
