Coen Brothers To Re-Write New Spielberg/Tom Hanks KGB Film
Here’s a great example of a project that would - just based on the names involved alone - sell me a ticket.
Luckily, the project sounds pretty interesting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Hanks is set to star in director Steven Spielberg’s next project, an untitled thriller about the real life story of James Donovan, an attorney who negotiated for the release of a spy plane pilot during the Cold War.
With the movie looking to shoot this fall, they’re looking to pep up the script, and enlisted to do a new draft? None other than Joel and Ethan Coen.
The Coen Brothers have wowed audiences for decades with their eclectic film resume (including movies such as The Big Lebowski and No Country For Old Men), so I can’t wait to how one of their films ends up appearing through the Spielberg prism.
