Director Colin Trevorrow Discusses 'Jurassic World'
Here at Blast-O-Rama, we’re not a big fan of discussing rumors unless they have some serious credibility - hence why you haven’t heard too much from us in relation to Jurassic World, the new movie in the Jurassic Park series currently filming.
There have been a significant number of leaks and rumors coming from the set, and to set the record straight, Slashfilm sat down and had an exclusive interview with the film’s director, Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed).
Trevorrow goes rather in-depth on the film, so massive spoiler alerts for those who intend to read the full article, but it proposes an interesting take on the Jurassic Park franchise.
Set once again at Isla Nubar, the Park itself has become rather ho-hum, and the movie tries to focus on how such a park would actually work - and how it would be received in the era of social media. Of course, things will go awry, and the movie will feature the dinosaur mayhem we know and love, but I really like the fresh, modern take on the Park and those who may go to it.
If you’re willing to learn a little more than expected about the film, I highly recommend the read.
Jurassic World is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
