Announced earlier today on The View, this October, Marvel will be relaunching Thor with a brand new #1, and a brand new lady acting as the God of Thunder.

Written by Jason Aaron with art from Russell Dauterman, the story has Thor Odinson being made no longer worthy of the hammer of Mjolnir, and in turn, someone else - who has yet to be revealed - will be taking the hammer and the name of Thor.

This lines up with a hammer-less, axe-carrying Thor, as hinted toward in the pages of Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers.
