This certainly is a unique promotional tactic.

We’ve been making fun of Terminator Genisys for a good while here at Blast-O-Rama.

With some AWFUL promotional shots hitting the web, and the silly unique spelling of the title, I hadn’t been too onboard with the movie. But then the first trailer hit and honestly? It didn’t look too bad.

Behold today’s new trailer. Or don’t, because I’m pretty sure it SPOILS A GIGANTIC TWIST IN THE MOVIE.

Like, I’m amazed this got out. This would be like The Sixth Sense pushing that Bruce Willis was the dead guy, or calling the movie The Crying Game Is When You Find Out That Lady Was Actually Male All Along.

But I’m also left asking one other bit…where the Hell is Matt Smith?

All this said, despite now knowing WAY TOO MUCH, I know me. I, like you, gentle reader…will see Terminator Genisys in theaters on July 1st.

It can’t be as bad as Terminator Salvation. R-right?
