Tonight, as promised, during Monday Night Football, the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered as servers everywhere crashed as tickets went on sale.

As somewhat expected with a JJ Abrams film, the trailer is still keeping many things under wraps, but it does set the stage for three of the major motivations for this post Return of the Jedi world.

We have Rey, a desert scavenger caught up in something greater than she anticipated.

We have Finn, a Stormtrooper gone rogue, hoping to be something more.

We have Kylo Ren, leader of the First Order, looking to finish the job that the Empire…and more importantly, Darth Vader started.

From the bits of dialogue we get from Han Solo, it sounds like that Jedis and the Dark Side are the stuff of legend. And on December 18th, we get to see it rise again.
