While some would argue that the Summer movie season is a thing of the past (the massive releases of Deadpool and Batman v. Superman in February and March, respectively, certainly point to it), I’m a purist. I love the Summer movie season.

From May to August, cineplexes are filled with big time movies, and larger-than-the-norm audiences to see them. With the season starting this week with the release of Captain America: Civil War, I wanted to take a moment to list out my picks for the Summer 2016 movie season.
