We thought we’d seen every possible trailer for Suicide Squad, but the fans at Warner Bros’s SDCC presentation in Hall H got one more - a special “Remix" trailer, presented by director David Ayer.

Featuring a number of selections from the film’s soundtrack, Suicide Squad continues to be - of all things - the movie filled with the villains, which seems more upbeat and enjoyable, than the prior movie with the heroes.

It’s clear that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is going to be the standout here, but this trailer made me really enjoy Will Smith’s Deadshot, and weirdly enough, Jai Courtney’s Boomerang.

I also have to give the marketing team credit - unlike other movies, where I can pretty much figure out the 3-act structure, I’m honestly not sure what the plot progression will be here…and I like that. But are they hiding something awful in the third act? We’ll find out soon.
