The Full ROGUE ONE Trailer Has Arrived!
As hyped all week, the new trailer for the Star Wars spin-off Rogue One has finally been revealed, after airing during NBC’s Olympics coverage.
Based in a timeline shortly before A New Hope, Rogue One is a grittier Star Wars film, and is the first to not focus on the Skywalkers - hence the Star Wars Story subtitle.
Focusing instead on rebelious Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), the movie has faced some controversy on its way to the theater, including some much fussed about reshoots.
But how is it looking now? Click play.
Just as gritty, dark, and looming as the original teaser was, I am all in on a movie that focuses on the harder battles fought alone the way.

Overall, I feel that the movie is in good hands, with Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards behind the camera, but we’ll see if Disney/Lucasfilm can continue the momentum started with the joyous rebirth of Star Wars this past Christmas with The Force Awakens.
