Straight from Oscars.org…

The bits I’m happiest about:

• Guillermo del Toro getting Best Director for The Shape of Water.
• Jordan Peele getting Best Original Screenplay for Get Out.
• Roger Deakins finally getting a Best Cinematography award for Blade Runner 2049.
• Sam Rockwell basically getting a "gold watch" Oscar for Three Billboards..., which was really more about "Holy shit, you've been awesome forever."

The bummers:

• Lady Bird was completely shut out.
• I honestly felt like Get Out should've won Best Picture.

Also - the Jet Ski bit from Kimmel last night was killer. Sure hope the costume designer from Phantom Thread posts online him riding it in Lake Havasu.
