Guys, I love the Get Up Kids.

Seen them in concert countless times - including what was their farewell show in Kansas City. Enjoyed them throughout every era, even the less beloved On A Wire and Guilt Show phases, and I really dug their comeback record There Are Rules.

They’ve got a new EP out today, Kicker, and it’s a lean-and-mean 4 song boost of energy. Lasted the exact length of my car ride to work today, and I love it, full stop! Really reminds me of the Four Minute Mile days, even if the lyrics are more about looking back then facing forward.

We’ve got two Matt Pryor songs, two Jim Suptic songs, and everything just is great. Would love to hear it live.

Of the 4 songs, I prefer the Pryor tracks - opener “Maybe" and closer “My Own Reflection" - but I could see all four shining live.
