Geoff Johns, Now With Less Work, To Pick Up Writing SHAZAM, THREE JOKERS, and His Own DC COMICS IMPRINT
Geoff Johns' newly-announced exclusive deal with Warner Bros./DC Entertainment will include the launching of two titles - Shazam! and Three Jokers - along with a new pop-up imprint at DC Comics called 'The Killing Zone.'Going back to what he - arguably - does best.The Killing Zone will be a slate of comic books “focusing on new and lesser known DC characters and titles”, although no specifics are given.
For Three Jokers, Johns will be reuniting with his Justice League partner Jason Fabok to pick up the story he began in his 2015 Justice League “Darkseid War” story arc.
Johns' Shazam! series is scheduled to be out in the fall according to DC, although no artist is named. Johns' previous wrote a Shazam! back-up serial drawn by Gary Frank, which appeared in the “New 52” Justice League series.
