Netflix and Telltale Games are teaming up to introduce a series of interactive narratives to the streaming service this fall, similar to ones that have already appeared, Netflix told Polygon this afternoon.

Additionally, Telltale is developing an [interactive game] adaptation based on Stranger Things, a Netflix representative told Polygon.

A Telltale representative confirmed to Polygon that it’s developing games for Netflix and that Stranger Things would be a separate project on consoles and PC.

The idea of interactive video based games on Netflix is certainly unique one (and fixes some of the jank of the Telltale engine), but the combination of Stranger Things and the throwback nature of Telltale’s games feels like a natural match. Looking forward to seeing what they do!
