SDCC Unofficial Blog:

2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the Warner Bros. film Demolition Man, and to celebrate, San Diego Comic-Con attendees are in for a tasty treat.

The 1993 film (starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes) is set in the year 2032, and predicted a dystopian future in which Taco Bell was the only restaurant to survive the “franchise wars", so all restaurants became Taco Bell. Also in this future, Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries (seasoned fries served with nacho dipping sauce, the stuff of legends) never left the menu.

Taco Bell will be bringing their Nacho Fries back to menus nationwide on July 12, but later in the month during San Diego Comic-Con, on Thursday, July 19 — Sunday, July 22. They will offer a Demolition Man pop-up and a futuristic and upscale Taco Bell dining experience near the convention center, where you’ll presumably be able to pick up some Nacho Fries while you wait.

Please, dear god, make the nerds use the three seashells in the bathroom.

Also, hey! The Nacho Fries are back. Sweet.
