Pitchfork:

RZA is developing a new TV series about the Wu-Tang Clan, Hulu announced today (October 11). The 10-episode show, called “Wu-Tang: An American Saga," is based on the Wu’s origin story, as well as RZA’s books The Wu-Tang Manual and Tao of Wu. A description in the press release reads: “Set in early ’90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories."

FUCK YES.

I hope the show goes way off-the-rails and mixes absolutely absurd fiction with the true story of their formation and rise.

Give me Shaolin temple training mixed with demoing their first album.
