MTV announced Thursday that it has ordered to series a Jodie-centric Daria spinoff, with black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross set to voice the title role.

Titled Jodie, the animated offshoot will follow Daria’s onetime schoolmate “as she comes into her own and enters the workplace in her first post-college job in tech." Other former students of Lawndale High will also appear in the series.

Weird that we aren’t getting a proper Daria return, but I’m interested in seeing how this turns out never the less.
