When was the last time we had a proper musical in theaters from a major studio?¹

I'm sure a lot of people were hoping that Lin-Manuel Miranda's other musical were hitting the big screen, but this looks pretty damn great. The direction of Jon M. Chu just adds to what was already a beloved show.
