To announce that a trailer will be hitting the web on Wednesday, March 27th, 20th Century Fox has released a brand new still from The Wolverine, the second solo film for everyone’s favorite clawed X-Man.
Starring Hugh Jackman, the James Mangold directed film has promised a very serious take on Logan, and our first glimpse of the film in action should hopefully be a meaty one, as Mangold has made some pretty bold comparisons in terms of what he’s aiming for with the film – comparing The Wolverine to films including Chungking Express, 13 Assassins, Chinatown and The French Connection, among others.
The new still features a well dressed Wolverine with blood on his claws – clearly, someone did him wrong.
The Wolverine hits theaters on July 26th.
