Announced by an invite sent to all of the major tech and gaming sites today, and confirmed by “Major Nelson” (aka Larry Hryb, director of programming for Xbox LIVE), Microsoft will officially kick off their next generation gaming platform on May 21st at 1pm at their Xbox Campus in Redmond, WA.
The announcement will be available for streaming on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE or by just tuning into SpikeTV. Â 19 days later (that’s June 9th), they’ll be revealing the games at E3. Â Begun, this next-gen video game war has.
