While the massive success of the Angry Birds franchise has created an eye-rolling backlash toward the series, the games have never stopped being both incredibly polished and fun. Seriously, Angry Birds: Star Wars II is great!
On December 11th, Rovio’s next game will hit mobile devices – a racing game called Angry Birds Go!. The first gameplay trailer is above, and it looks great – but with the upgradable carts, and it being a free app, I’m quite worried about the game being a paywall heavy exercise in frustration – a’la Real Racing 3 or Plants vs. Zombies 2.
