The Philadelphia Flyers Now Have a Mascot. What the HELL is it?

Philadelphia Business Journal:

The last holdout among Philadelphia’s pro sports team is mascot-less no longer.

The Philadelphia Flyers on Monday unveiled Gritty — a 7-foot tall, fuzzy, orange creature — at event held at the city’s Please Touch Museum. Other features of the new mascot include googly eyes and a squeaky belly button and hands, along with ability to blow smoke out of his ears.

This is certainly a choice of mascot. Goodness.
