Oh boy. I am excited to play Ocarina of Time with modern improvements for camera control, and overall game feel. But…I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the visuals. The environmental work is strong, but the character models themselves have an uncanny valley feeling — as if it’s one of those “I MADE THIS IN 3 MINUTES USING GOOGLE GEMINI, GAME DEVS ARE COOKED” videos which seem to go viral.
Maybe it’ll feel less odd over a few dozen hours.
