With just over a month left until X-Men: Apocalypse completes the “First Class” trilogy, 20th Century Fox is pulling out all the stops to make sure they have a Memorial Day success.
…including revealing arguably one of the film’s biggest surprises in the latest trailer.

That’s right, in this movie – the ninth in the X-Men series overall, following up where Days of Future Past left off – Hugh Jackman is back as the ever-popular Wolverine.
It’s a move which is sure to move the needle for long-time fans of the franchise, but I have to say – this film has been one that has looked decent-to-good in every trailer so far, but I’ve yet to be hit with the ravenous, fanboy need to see the film.
I’ll be there opening weekend, for sure, but I really wish that Matthew Vaughn could’ve continued on as the keeper of this series after First Class.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
