Nintendo had a good July. Not only was the Nintendo Switch the best-selling hardware for the month, but five of the ten games on July’s best-sellers list were Nintendo Switch exclusives all led by Octopath Traveler, which was the month’s best-selling game.
Normally, I don’t really care about NPD numbers and such, but it’s absolutely buck wild to me that the best selling game of July 2018 was a 16-bit RPG throwback. So crazy.
